100' Z-Drive Tractor Tug
The first of five Bay Delta Tractor Tugs, the M/V Valor. This vessel was designed and built with state-of-the-art tug equipment. The complete propulsion system consists of two 3516C Caterpillar diesel engines coupled to the Rolls Royce Z-drive system. The propulsion package produces 85 ton bollard pull and exceptional maneuverability. The deck is outfitted with a Hawser DEPC-52 winch along with a TSW Jon Rie A525 winch. Accommodations include Captain's stateroom, Engineer's stateroom, three crew staterooms, one mess room and a galley. The vessel was delivered in 2006 to Bay Delta Navigation. A total of five tugs will be delivered, one every year through 2010
