The Catalina Jet was built for Catalina Express and is operating today as a passenger ferry carrying up to 450 passengers from LA to Catalina Island. The crossing takes one hour traveling at 35 knots. The vessel consists of three decks, the main deck offers in-cabin seating, large viewing windows, bar service, a snack station and restrooms. The second deck contains a large lounge and exterior open-air seating, and the top deck is all open-air seating.
