This larger 27m platform retains the agility and maneuverability of its smaller cousin but provides a larger and overall more capable offering. The larger platform brings with it improved seakeeping capabilities and transfer performance along with improved payload capacities. An option includes BMT’s patented AFS® (Active Fender System) for reduced impact loads, controlled engagement with the landing tubes and overall improved transfer outcomes. This larger design also benefits from an increase in deck cargo area for containerized or non-containerized cargo along with larger accommodation spaces and storage areas. Fixed pitch Propeller, Controllable pitch propeller, Twin/Quad Jet, quad IPS options are available along with hybrid and diesel electric arrangements. A high degree of customization and machinery/equipment selection is on offer.
