A Rising Tide of Work

NBBB  is enjoying a rising tide of work with contracts that will keep our yard busy well into 2021.  Our current work includes projects under contract with:

  • Foss Maritime to build four new class ASD 90 tug boats, with an option for an additional six. 
  • Kitsap Transit for two 140-foot high-speed passenger ferries providing new service routes from Kitsap Peninsula to Seattle, and
  • Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District, which has seen dramatic ferry ridership growth in the San Francisco Bay area.

We are seeking skilled craftsmen and those who want to learn the trades by entering one of our state-registered apprenticeship programs.  Consider our state-registered apprenticeship programs. Earn a living wage while receiving the training to put you into a family wage career progression.
