Nichols Brothers Boat Builders Celebrates 60 Years of Excellence
2024 marks a year of celebration for Nichols Brothers Boat Builders (NBBB). We are so proud to be part of a six-decade legacy of shaping the seas with dedication, skill, and an unwavering commitment to innovation and excellent craftsmanship.
Recently NBBB hosted a jubilant 60-year celebration for its employees and families. The shipyard transformed into a festive haven with a gallery of historic photos and models, and plaques to mark the milestone. Employees past and present, enjoyed reconnecting, rekindling friendships, and sharing memories of past projects, and amazing accomplishments.
Gavin Higgins, CEO of Nichols Brothers Boat Builders, expressed gratitude for the continued support stating, “reaching 60 years is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented team, the trust of our clients, and the resilience of the maritime industry. We look forward to the next chapter, embracing new challenges, and opportunities with the same passion that has defined us for six remarkable decades.”
The event also marked a gathering to celebrate Matt Nichols’ retirement, Executive Vice President of Sales. Employees, company executives, longtime customers and colleagues, friends, and family joined in raising a glass to his remarkable career. Matt’s passion for shipbuilding has left an indelible mark.
