Meet Our Pipe Shop Team

Comradery : Noun : Mutual trust and friendship among people who spend a lot of time together.

Nichols Brothers pipe shop is a comradery. The pipe shop holds a lot of pride in watching over each other safely, respectively and through guidance. They hold a lot of trust in one another and work jointly as a team.

Nichols Brothers pipe shop has 32 tradesmen ranging from apprentice, journeyman, leadmen and foreman. The journeyman apprentice ratio is 2:1 so apprentice are paired with an experienced journeyman to learn from.  While it does take patients, attention to detail, high-quality standards, and hard work to be a pipe fitter; journeyman and leadmen are teaching the next generation how to accurately and precisely fit pipe components for vessel construction.

Apprentice Pipe Fitter

"For me, working at Nichols Bros has been about discovering what I’m made of through challenging tasks. It has given me the opportunity to learn a valuable trade in the apprenticeship program that can be taken anywhere. Most importantly, there is a strong sense of being in a community that genuinely cares about the well-being of its members."
