Pete Sinclair

The Planning and Production Control Department is responsible for the overall workflow through the shipyard, from project level through facility level, and then to make continual adjustments to achieve repeatable, consistent flow.

Planning and Production Control maintain individual project schedules, plans, timekeeping and tracking tasks as well as guiding future direction on both a project and company level.  Planning and Production Control is the interface between engineering, project management and production and the distributor of all necessary project related data.

Mr. Sinclair has over twenty years of industry experience, with the majority being shipyard based, predominantly involved with new construction covering a broad range of vessels from tugs and barges through to experimental military craft.  Mr. Sinclair is responsible for overall planning within the shipyards, from individual projects through to the long-term facility and company level, as well as tracking and improvement.  Prior to taking this role Mr. Sinclair served as the Chief Naval Architect at NBBB.  As well as being heavily involved with the engineering and naval architecture aspects of new construction, Mr. Sinclair has been a pivotal project team member from pre-contract award through the construction phase and post-delivery warranty period.  Mr. Sinclair holds a B.Eng (hons) in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
