Current New Construction

This autumn Nichols Brothers Boat Builders has various vessels under construction. The diverse work scope illustrates the complexity of vessels Nichols is accustom to building. Currently the M/V Nancy Peterkin a 136' x 44' ATB Tug is at NBBB's Langley Facility for final outfitting. While the sistership the M/V Tina Pyne is under construction in Freeland, and is scheduled to Launch late December. Also underway in Freeland, NBBB is building the third Washington State144-Car Ferry Superstructure, delivery April 2016. The 140' American Samoa Passenger-Cargo Multi Purpose vessel has also begun and will be delivered late 2016. Coming down the pipeline next year you'll get a peek of several other projects over NBBB's fence. Two 139' x 44' ATB Tugs, Two WETA Catamaran Superstructures, and Two 120' Line Tow Tug Boats are all on order.

Nichols Brothers specialize in steel and aluminum repair and major conversions. Recently NBBB completed repairs and upgrade maintenance on the F/V Alsea, in addition to an Alaska Marine Lines tug repair and two Harley Marine Services tug repairs on the Eagle and Hunter D.
